He has 12 summits of Everest under his belt, he is also the first person to complete the Everest Triple Crown, has summited Everest twice in a week and is the first and only person to Tweet from the top of the world.
Alongside mountaineering feats, his is also the only Britain to have skied down two 8,000 m mountains and has been nominated for the Piolet dOr. He has also cycled two of the toughest Cyclosportives in the world; the Haute Routes from Geneva to Nice and Barcelona to Anglet.
In his autobiography, Cool exuberantly shares his enthusiasm for adventure and tremendous determination whilst maintaining honest and insightful look at his life and motivations.
“Ive watched Kentons development over the last decade into one of the worlds pre-eminent climbers. The time he has spent at 8000m is almost unparalleled.” – Sir Chris Bonington
