The first climbing helmet to feature this patented MIPS technology, the Mammut Wall Rider MIPS has the ability to transfer some of therotational forces and energiesaway from the brain during an impact, which then massively reduces the chance of a brain injury.When the Wall Rider MIPS helmet is subjected to an angled impact, the large, low friction layer allows the helmet to slide relative to the head and redirects and absorbs the force.

Combining a cushioning EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) core with a partial hard shell for maximum safety, the helmet is also super lightweight coming in at just 225g.
