Anti Rotation Rudder
Anti-Rotation manual control system for EVEREST Kit designed for helicopter hoist recovery.
The system is operated using the handle, and controls the spinning effect (due to the downdraft) that occurs during recovery by helicopter.
The anti-rotation rudder is fixed using two Velcro straps at the lowest part of the stretcher (by the rescuer’s right hand).
The VAR is located at the foot side and its handle is facing the patient’s head.
On the lower edge of the rudder there are two slots that enable the external closing straps of the EVEREST bag to be fitted properly.
